Even without reading Yates’ book, something still seems abridged—perhaps the possibility of an ensemble showcase. The center ring is DiCaprio/Winslet sturm und drang, which teeters between powerful and histrionic (with Leo raging and grinning like vintage Nicholson). Makes Mad Men (the easy comparison) look cool under the collar.
