I watched Joy Division because, past a cursory "suicide and singles" knowledge, I knew nothing of the Manchester post-punk band. Now I do. A slick style and heavy song play kept the proceedings illustrative and not wholly elegaic (I'm sure they left that to Control, the Ian Curtis biopic.)
