An ambitious document of an astonishing feat. Narrated like an acrobatic French Ocean's Eleven, with too many near-snafus to believe. Yet everyone concurs the facts, including the enthusiastic Philippe Petit, who revels in exuberant egotism. Copious footage, photography, and reenactments (that actually work!). Satie's "Gymnopedies" makes the climax transcendent.
